4.4.2024 Florida

After unspecified problems, the flight crew decided to activate the Galaxy GRS rescue parachute system over the Hillsborough County town of Seffner, Florida. The parachute was probably activated in a corkscrew and at a height of less than 150m above the ground. The two passengers on board the single-engine light sport plane suffered only minor injuries when it landed into a residential area. The Galaxy GRS Ballistic Rescue System worked perfectly. This brought the total number of rescued persons to 123.
